1. Wash every 3 days
   (use dry powder shampoo in between if necessary)
   
   Use professional products.
    
2. Brush out tangles (only brush dry hair), then tie up top half of hair
    
3. Stand upright in shower and shampoo the nape area, spread downwards gently
    
4. Let down your remaining hair and shampoo the rest
    
5. Rinse extra well
    
6. Avoid conditioner at the roots (to prevent slippage)
    
7. Do a cool water rinse (to seal the cuticle and make your hair shiny)
    
8. Towel dry gently and use a leave in conditioner
    
9. Use a deep treatment once a week (avoid your roots)
    
10. Use a gentle clarifying shampoo once every 2 to 3 weeks to clear buildup. (This also lets conditioner set in better.)

• Heat is hair's enemy (always use a protective heat product to prevent heat damage.)
   
• At bedtime, braid hair into two side braids to prevent tangling and matting at the root area.
  (or form a bun on top of your head and secure with a soft scrunchie.)
   
• A satin pillow helps to keep curled styles fresh the next day
   
• Avoid salt water or chlorine water -  it is very drying and can discolor blonde hair
  Put conditioner in your hair and braid before entering ocean.
   
• Wear a swim cap in the pool. (I know they're kind of ugly, but it will save your hair.)
   
• Wear a hat in the sun
  
   
• Don't brush hair when wet.
   
• Don't wash/style your hair with products that have alcohol in them
   
• Don't wash your hair with your head upside down
   
• Don't perm, relax or dye your hair extensions
