With the colder winter temperatures here, my hair extensions get dry and require more care. Here are my at-home treatments:
* Wash hair only 2 to 3 times per week
* Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (such as Kerastase Bain Satin, Biolage, or Redken AllSoft)
* Use a leave in conditioner (Sebastian Potion 9, Neutrogena, Redken Allsoft)
* Use a deep conditioning treatment once per week (avoid the bonds)
* Rub some olive oil or grapeseed oil in your hands and run over the surface and ends of hair
* Use a heat protectant product when using curling irons/dryers/straighteners/hot rollers
* Drink more water
* Eat a balanced diet filled with fruit and vegetables
* Avoid alcohol and drugs
* Take a fish oil supplement every day
* Take vitamins including Calcium, Vitamin A, B, C and E
