Hair Extension Up Dos

Here are a few professional up dos that you can do at home:

Side Sweeper (Tearsheet’s Sharon Brousseau)

* Curl your hair extensions (choose a large barreled curling iron, large Velcro rollers or large ceramic rollers.)

* Finger tousle and use a flexible hairspray.

* Create a low ponytail (a little to one side.)

* Twist a piece of hair around the ponytail and pin it with bobby pins.
Classy Chignon:

* Apply volumizing product through dampened hair

* Blow dry near forehead up and away from face for height

* Part hair from ear to ear, to create 2 sections

* Take the top half and pull into a ponytail.

* Roll the bottom half  together with the ponytail, creating a bun and secure with bobby pins to your head

* Take beautiful pins or jewelry and put in clusters around the bun and spray some product for dazzling shine
Redken Runway Look:

* Look in the mirror and part hair into a deep side part

* Pull all your hair in a ponytail to the side

* Smooth some gel or mousse on the sides and top of your head for hold

* Curl pieces of the ponytail with a 1" curling iron and pin them to your head around the elastic

* Spray your new pinned bun with strong hairspray

* Add a little shine product to the sides and top of your head if necessary
Fergie's Fishtail (Redken's Patricia Morales)

* Pull all the hair to one side (leaving some hair out on the temple area).

* Divide the ponytail into two sections.

* Start pulling hair from under one section and cross it over to the top and hold it in the opposite side.

* Alternate from side to side, and keep crossing from under then over until the hair is all braided.

* After the braid is done, pull out the braid making it a little loose.
Modern Bun (T3's Orlando Pita)

* Blow-dry with a volumizing product

* Section by section, begin teasing entire head with a fine-tooth comb.

* Secure hair in high ponytail with a covered elastic, and tease the ponytail to add volume and texture

* Using ponytail, create bun by wrapping large sections of hair around elastic and using bobby pins to secure hair in place.

* Add an elastic colored headband for accent if desired.
